Steven J. Moran, Sr., age 57, of Lizana, passed away on August 2, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Moran, and a brother, Ricky Moran.
Survivors include his wife, Myra Moran, his children, Steven J. (Sonya) Moran, Jonas (Brandy Williams) Moran, and Jonathan Moran, his father, James Moran, Marvin Moran, Gregory Moran, and Michael (Beth) Moran, 9 grandchildren, Nathan, Dylan, Savannah, Nicole, Alexis, Jarrette, Landon, Carson, and Addison, and numerous other nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Mr. Moran was a lifelong resident of the Lizana community and was employed with the Harrison County Road Department. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 4, 2014, from 10 am - 12 noon at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Lizana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon in the church. Burial will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
