Stephen "James" Allen

Stephen “James” Allen, age 12 of Long Beach, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

He was preceded in death by both of his nanas, Judith Salvage and Janice Allen; and his cousin, Noah Walters.

James is survived by his parents, Forrest Allen, Jr. and Ann Marie Allen; his siblings, Emma Allen, Chase Allen, and Wyatt Allen; his aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

He attended Gulf Coast Pediatric Care in Gulfport since it’s opening in 2014.  He was taken care of by a wonderful, caring staff of nurses’ aides and therapists.

James loved to be outdoors, visit aquariums, and truly loved his family.  He also loved watching football and wrestling and going to the movies to watch action films.

He was daddy’s boy and momma’s world.  He was always entertained by his younger big sister and his brother, Chase.

James was well cared for and loved by his nurses, doctors, and staff at his center, USA Children’s Hospital, and subsequently at Ochsner's Children’s Hospital.

James loved balloon's and in lieu of flowers bring your favorite balloon's. 

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, followed by burial at Allen Cemetery.
