Stephanie Lynne Monts Smith, 55, of Biloxi, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Biloxi.
She was a native of Norfolk, VA, and the manager of Furniture Galore & More! in Biloxi. Stephanie was a hard working mother of five fabulous children, and enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, and was a Kitchen Party founder.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles F. Monts, and a brother, Steven ""Bubba"" Monts.
Stephanie is survived by her mother, Pearl Jeanette Conroy; step-mother, Cindy Monts; five children: Ashley Byrne, Megan Schmidt, Katie Byrne, Corley Smith, and Ryan Smith; siblings: Janet Fields (Christopher Fields), and Sean & Denise Monts; grandchildren: Jessie Byrne, Chloe Schmidt, Noah Schmidt, Avery Wier, and Rayne Gibson; and great-grandchild: Major Tyson.
The family would like to thank everyone for the tremendous outreach and support during this difficult time. Stephanie touched the lives of everyone who crossed her path. She was known for her famous kitchen parties, lipstick, and hairspray. Stephanie never met a stranger and was a mother to many. She was full of life and love! Most notably her life was dedicated and centered around the care and love of her children. ""It's all about them"" is what she always said. She was the most selfless person we know.
At her request a Celebration of Life will be held in her honor from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Biloxi Lighthouse Park in Biloxi.
