Steaven Walter Jay Bell, age 82, of Long Beach, passed away on July 4, 2024 in Biloxi.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his first wife, Stella A. Bell; his second wife, Jean S. Bell; a son, Steve Bell, Jr; 2 sisters, Margie Culpepper and Nancy Bond; 2 brothers, Larry Joe Bell and James Bell; and a grandson, Chase Carson Dennis.
Mr. Bell is survived by his 2 daughters, Betty Gross (Frank) of Gulfport and Lisa King (Roger) of Long Beach; 2 sisters, Eva Elaine Kowalski and Mary Hartung; 6 grandchildren, Adam Dunn, Davis Dunn, Steven Dunn, Nina Phillips, Chandler Dennis, and Gabriella Lucente; 7 great-grandchildren, Olivia Dunn, Jeffery Dunn, Cooper Dunn, Bennett Dunn, Kenna Phillips, and Mary Mae Dennis; his step-children, Mike Ladner, Gregg Ladner, Steve Ladner, Debbie Houston, Bobbie Ruddy, and JoAnne Lackey; and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Bell was a longtime resident of Long Beach and was a graduate of Pass Christian High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and he retired as a Production Foreman at Gulf Coast Pre-Stress in Pass Christian.
The family would like to personally thank the Biloxi VA staff at the Living Care Center on the VA campus for taking such good care of our dad for the past 4 ½ years. You have been a part of our family and your love and support has been greatly appreciated.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 9 - 10 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A prayer service will be at 10 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
