SMSgt. Angelo Lawrence Papale

SMSgt. Angelo Lawrence Papale, U. S. Air Force, Retired, 92, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 in Gulfport.
Mr. Papale was a native of San Francisco, California and longtime resident of Biloxi. He is a US Air Force veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam War, earning the rank of Senior Master Sergeant, with 20 years honorable service. He later retired from Ingalls-Litton Industries in Pascagoula with 20 years' service. He enjoyed woodworking, auto-restoration, dancing, roller skating, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Papale was a member of the VFW, Moose Lodge, French Club, and the Elks Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Helen Papale; son, Arthur Lawrence Papale; and brothers, Terrence Papale and Rudolph Papale.
Mr. Papale is survived by his son, Christopher Travis Papale, and daughter-in-law, Marie Papale, granddaughters, Christian Marie Mathers, and Angelina Eva Papale; and great-granddaughter, Paisley Ann Mathers, daughter of Christian and Jeff Mathers.
Thank you to all who have loved, cared for, and enjoyed the life of our father, Angelo Lawrence Papale. He always wanted to make sure everyone around had a smile on their face. Because of his attitude and crazy antics, they did. His joy and love spread to whoever he was around. Thank you for being a wonderful example of a father for me, Dad, I love you always and forever.
In Memory of our father we would appreciate donations be given to Nativity BVM Elementary School Tuition Fund, (228) 4 32-2269, c/o Sr. Mary Jo Mike.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where friend may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
