Mr. Sidney Mallett, 86, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Mallett was a life-long resident of the Success community and was retired from the U.S. Forest Service. He loved the outdoors & hunting, and raising his cattle & horses. He was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Mallett was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Bonnie Mallett; his 1st wife, Bettie Mallett; son, Douglas Mallett and brother, Roddy Mallett.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Dedeaux Mallett; sons, Joel Mallett and Jeff Mallett (Deborah); his siblings, Barbara Rozier, Caroline Seymour (Harold), Eldon Mallett (Carolyn Sue), Shirley Avondoglio, Milburn Mallett (Ora), Linda Scara (Louis) and Bruce Mallett; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 10:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7th at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8th at Ramsey Creek Baptist Church, where friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
