Shirley Ware

On Sunday March12, 2017 after 90 years of life, the Lord called our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Shirley Torries Ware, to join the love of her life, Howard Ware, and her three beautiful daughters, Patricia Todriff, Brenda Scarborough and Linda Price. She also joins her Mother and Father, Bernice and Frances (Son) Torries, a sister, Doris Saucier and four brothers, Wilford, Buck, Ernest and Jimmy Torries.
She is survived by her three devoted daughters, Joyce (Doug) Caskey, Charlotte Fazzio, and Cheryl (Carson) Ladner. Her legacy includes 9 grandchildren, Denise Bell, Y'Vette Batia, Michelle Baronavich, Angela Guiterrez, Carey Martel, Sean Martel, Bridget Legg, Glenn Ladner, and Heather Lizana, 17 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, a very special god daughter, Mary Lindsay and her nephew, Frank Torries. She is also survived by a sister, Peggy Pittman and her brothers, Harold and Ronald Torries.
She was born in Biloxi, MS and lived in Gulfport her whole life. In between raising 6 little girls and grandchildren, she worked at the old Ben Franklin's Store and Stuffed Shirt Factory in Pass Christian, where she retired. She was such a strong and godly woman and never lost her faith even when bombarded with unbearable losses. She loved the Lord and her family and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Shirley was of the Catholic faith.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
