Shirley Ann Smith

Shirley Ann Smith, age 71 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, in Gulfport.
She was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was a member of Morris Hill Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Saucier. Mrs. Smith was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, William Entrekin and Mary Quave Harris; her husband, Robert Arnold Smith and a son, Johnny W. Busby.
She is survived by her children, Willis C. (Mary) Busby of Gulfport, Janet L. Melvin of Perkinston, Marie Waller of Vancleave, and Dwayne (Beth) Busby of New Albany; her siblings, Joyce (J.M.) Seals of Carnes, Sandra Noble, Susan Entrekin, Danny (Lynn) Entrekin all of Vancleave and David Entrekin of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Melissa Busby, Kathy (Warren) Brown, Heather Bolten, James Waller, Josh Waller, Hattie Hilton, Mandy Carter, Desaray Eaton, Chris Melvin, Joey Melvin, Ina D'Antonio, Donnie D'Antonio, and Sarah Busby and her great grandchildren, Alexia, Gavin, Miley, Makayla, Maddie, Merleigh, Jackson, Aden, Ava, Maddie, Jody, Shala, Sarina, Peyton, Dylan, and Ashley.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014, at 4:30pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport.
