Shirley Smith, 71, of Ocean Springs, died peacefully in her home, Saturday, October 29, 2016.
Mrs. Smith was born in Kosciusko, MS on May 10, 1945 and was a life-long resident of the Gulf Coast.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Della Albert and her father, Robert Grantham. She is survived by her long-time companion, Wayne Miller; her sons, Keith Stewart and fianceÌ, Andrea, and Kevin Stewart and wife, Lisa; her brothers, Max Grantham and wife, Norma, and David Grantham and wife, Theresa; her grandchildren, Stephen and Trinity; her great-granddaughter, Addison; two nieces and two nephews; and her cherished poodle, Missy.
Friends are invited to join the Smith family to celebrate Shirley's life on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with the Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, at Washington Ave., Ocean Springs.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
