Shirley Padgett, age 70, of Ocean Springs, came into this world on May 5, 1939, and departed on October 1, 2009.
She came to the United States to start her life as Mrs. Samuel Padgett, Sr., in 1962. She was the loving mother of Sharon Podlin and David Padgett. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is now in the Hands of God.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
