Shirley Ferro

Shirley M. Ferro, age 77, of Saucier, surrounded by her loving family, went peacefully at home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday September 7, 2018.
She was born in Long Beach to Edgar and Anita Alexander and she was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Charles, Curtis, Gilbert, and Gary Alexander; her sisters, Margaret Hauer, Patsy Watts, Peggy Cowart, and Judy Breckenridge.
Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Dominic Ferro, Jr.; her daughters, Tammy Harper and Kristee (Michael) Allen; her 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Shirley was a God fearing woman who always let God lead her life.  She was a pillar of strength and known by many as their "spiritual mother" where they could always come for advice, comfort, and understanding. When she was not listening to gospel music and doing for her "kids," she enjoyed fishing.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 10, 2018, from 1 - 2:30 pm at the Extended Hands Assembly of God, 16427 Shaw Rd, Gulfport.  The funeral service will be at 2:30 pm in the church.  Interment will be in Allen Cemetery.
