Mrs. Shirlee A. Brant, age 78, resident of Biloxi passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 in Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Brant; brothers, Mike, Wayne, and Robert Welch; and sister, Doris Corlas.
She is survived by four children, Mitchell Curtis and wife Kim of Springfield, IL, Jeanette Miller and husband Rick of Dwight, IL, Stephen Brant of Channahon, IL, and Anne Galloway and husband Jack of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Gabriel, James, Joseph, Joshua, Ami Jo, Christine, Ashley, and Sarah; two sisters, Bernadine Venturini and Carol Castor; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two special friends, Patrick Burke and Coleen Tucker.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at Biloxi National Cemetery, and a memorial service will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 at 11:00 am at Forerunner Christian Fellowship, 624 S 4th St, Springfield, IL. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, www.purpleheart.org.
