Sheri Oaks

Sheri Lynn Oaks (Cothern) of North Biloxi, passed away on December 24, 2017 at the age of 51.  She was of the Baptist Faith.
Sheri was a native of Katy, TX where she graduated from high school.  She loved gardening, feeding the birds and had a love for all animals.  She enjoyed dancing, watching her beloved Saints play football, and just had a great love for life.  She will be forever missed.
Sheri was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Oaks; her mother-in-law, Jennie L. Hire, her sister-in-law, Deborah Graham, and brother-in-law William Cothern (Stump).
She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Thomas L. Cothern of North Biloxi; her parents, Gary and Dorothy (Shrum) Downey and Larry and Carol Oaks; her children, Sean T. Cothern and Tiffany M. Cothern as well numerous relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at the corner of Washington Ave. in West Jackson County.
