Shelia Renae Coleman

Shelia Renae Coleman, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 57.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Coleman; and her brother, Jason Ronald Coleman.

She is survived by her son, Devin Reid Coleman; her grand-children, Salem and Delilah Coleman; her father, Ronald Coleman; and Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shelia will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with those around her. She pursued her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, showing her dedication to helping others. She worked as a dietary aide, where she found joy in caring for and cooking for seniors. In addition, she created her own small business, a reflection of her determination and creativity.

Outside of work, she loved gathering family and friends together around the grill, hosting cookouts filled with laughter and good food. She enjoyed playing dominoes, where her playful spirit and competitive side always shone through.

As a devoted sports fan, she rarely missed a game and never passed up the chance to celebrate with loved ones during the Super Bowl. Her enthusiasm, warmth, and sense of togetherness made every gathering special.

Shelia also had a deep love for animals, finding joy and companionship in caring for them throughout her life. Her gentle heart extended to every creature, reflecting her compassion and nurturing spirit.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing

Shelia’s love and spirit will remain with us always.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., with the Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
