Sharon Gail Little
Ziegler
January 19, 1957 – April 26, 2026
Sharon Gail Little Ziegler, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home in Gulfport, MS, on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Born on January 19, 1957, in Milton, Florida, Gail lived a life marked by boundless kindness, unwavering faith, and creative passion.
Gail was the kindest and gentlest soul that ever walked this Earth. Her love and compassion for her family and friends were only matched by her steadfast faith in Christ and the teachings of the Holy Bible. Despite a challenging childhood, Gail’s heart remained open, never allowing her experiences to harden her spirit. She consistently expressed love, sympathy, and understanding to all those she met. Her remarkable sense of humor, silliness, and immense generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
An avid painter and drawer, Gail found joy and solace in artistic expression. She also deeply loved reading the Bible, drawing strength and guidance from its sacred words. These passions enriched her life and offered a window into her gentle and hopeful soul.
Gail is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Michael Ziegler; her children Ryan Ziegler, Skylar Ziegler, Spencer Simonson, Hunter McDaniel, and Ky Maultsby; and her grandchildren, River Madelyn Victoria Ziegler and Ava Navas. She is also survived by dear family members including her sisters-in-law Victoria LaVertu and Traci Buchanan, as well as her mother-in-law, Arlene LaVertu.
She was preceded in death by her father Roy Hopkins, her beloved daughter Hayley Maultsby, her niece Donna, and her father-in-law Vincent LaVertu. Those who loved Gail can find comfort in the thought that she is now free from pain and suffering, resting in Heaven alongside her daughter Hayley and niece Donna.
