Sharon Guthrie

Sharon Joann Cameron Guthrie, age 76, passed away on January 8, 2023 in Perkinston, Mississippi. She was born October 6, 1946 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Joseph Anding Sr. and Louise Neal Anding.

Sharon loved her family dearly and was a devoted wife, amazing mom and proud “Meme”. She reflected Christ in everything she did and people were drawn to her. Her smile, patience and kindness lit up the world!

She managed Cameron Roofing from 1970-1997 and retired while working at Long Beach Rental. She touched so many people and made lasting friends. There was only one best friend to Sharon and that was her sister Gloria. They were inseparable and laughed through this crazy world.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Anding Sr. and Louise Neal Anding; husband, Wayne Cameron; grandchildren, Samantha Gibbons and Aaron Newbaker; and nephew, Robert Menna.

She is survived by four children, Dennis Cameron (Kerry), Jackie Neal (Royce), Brian Cameron (Theresa), Kathy Holley (Dwayne); grandchildren, Trey Gaskin, Nicki Chambliss (TC), Jackie Bawcum (Bradley), Farrah Schonewitz (Justin); great-grandchildren, Dani Clark, Zoey Gibbons, Grayden Lassabe, Nolan Schonewitz, Christopher Chambliss, Caroline Chambliss, Jeremy Patrick, Hunter Patrick, Drew Kirkland, Allie Kirkland; brother, Joe Anding Jr. (Cindy); and sister, Gloria Menna (Bobby).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi, MS. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
