Shannon Mitchell Frommeyer

Shannon Leslie Dorian Mitchell Frommeyer, age 57 of Bay St. Louis, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

She was preceded in death by mother, Patricia Kingston; her brother, Everett Mitchell and her sister, Melissa Mitchell.

Shannon is survived by her father, Gene Mitchell; her daughter, Jade Marie Alvarado; her grandson, Brody Michael Haggerty; her sisters, Tiffany Gainey, Susannah Davis, Karen Matherne, Bridget Maurigi; her brother, Keith Mitchell; her nieces, Lilian Gainey Stafford and her husband, James Adam Stafford, Natalie Mitchell, Rachael Mitchell, Myriam Mitchell, Britney Maurigi, Sarah Perkins and Brittany Clarke; her nephews, Kace Mitchell and Evan Mitchell; her great niece, Dahlia Stafford and her great nephew, Jasper Stafford.

She was a graduate of Bay High School, Class of 1986. Following high school, she pursued her passion for cosmetology and earned her degree from Chris’ Beauty College in Gulfport, Mississippi, in 1988. Shannon enjoyed fishing, was an accomplished billiards player, and had a deep love for music. She was a devoted member of the Catholic faith.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 4, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 141 Hwy 90, Waveland, MS, with prayer service beginning at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Reception at the funeral home will follow service.
