Sebastian R. Claveau

Sebastian R. Claveau, a husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on February 19, 2026, in Long Beach, Mississippi, at the age of 52. Born on February 14, 1974, in Canada, Sebastian lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family.

A laborer by trade, Sebastian was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his loved ones. He received his education through high school, where he laid the groundwork for a life characterized by both perseverance and resilience.

Sebastian was a devoted family man, having shared 28 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Lou Anne Pierce Claveau. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter and support. He is survived by his parents, Marcel and Monique Claveau, who cherished him deeply. Sebastian was the proud father of six sons: Joshua Roberie, Gaberial Roberie, Christian (Jamie) Graham, Aaron Claveau, Ethan (Shanyck) Claveau, Matthew Claveau, and Gabrielle Lair. Each of his children carried a piece of his spirit with them, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness.

A dedicated brother, Sebastian, is also remembered by his siblings: Isabelle Claveau, Valerie Claveau, Jonathon Pepin, Alex Claveau, and Marie-Eve Claveau. His familial bonds were strong, built on a foundation of love and mutual respect, and he will be dearly missed by all.

Sebastian had a great passion for sports, finding joy in hockey and baseball, while also being a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints. These interests brought him much happiness and camaraderie throughout his life.

As a grandfather, Sebastian created lasting memories with his cherished grandchildren: Sophie Gracie Roberie, Levi Jaxon Cleveau, August Graham, and Azaela Cleaveau. His love for them was immeasurable, providing guidance and warmth as he took on the role of a doting grandfather.

Sebastian's legacy will live on, remembered not only for his dedication to his family and work but also for the joy he brought to those around him. A fitting tribute to his life can be found in the words spoken at Cornerstone Baptist Church:

"Thank you for coming, as my dad once told me, all it takes is one laugh to lead to happiness." His laughter and love will be missed, but the happiness he spread will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach, is honored to help the family during this difficult time.
