In Loving Memory of Scott Porter

Gulfport, MS - Scott Porter, aged 60, passed away on October 11th, 2023 in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Porter and Bonnie Kay Welch. Scott is survived by his daughter, Natalie Porter, his brother, Kris Porter, and sisters, Alicia Kleid and Andrea Kleid.

He honorably served our country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Scott dedicated his life to education and training. He served as a Senior Lead Instructor, specializing in technical training and quality assurance, leaving a mark on countless individuals who had the privilege of learning from him.

Outside of his professional life, Scott had a zest for living and enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed an occasional visit to the casino and had a special love for his dogs.

As we say goodbye to Scott Porter, we remember the hero, educator, friend, father and brother who made the world a better place. May he rest in peace, and may his memory forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who loved him.
