Sara Lee Vernon Scarborough

Sara Lee Vernon Scarborough, of Saucier, passed away on November 30, 2016 at the age of 80. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, woodworking, and crafts. She was also a member of Lighthouse Church of God in McHenry.
She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Bolden Scarborough, Sr., her parents, Clarence L. Vernon and Marie Carter; step-daughter, Flora Lampkin; and step-son, Homer Wilson Scarborough.
Her survivors include her three children, Ann Scarborough of Saucier, Mary Karen Stewart (Robert Jesse Jr.) of Saucier, Homer Bolden Scarborough, Jr. (Millian) of Saucier; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 6-9 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Rouse Cemetery in Saucier.
