Sara Tumlin Kriss, 79 formerly of Biloxi, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on January 4, 2013.
Mrs. Kriss was born in Albany, GA on May 22, 1933, and has lived on the coast since 1952. She worked for AT&T, and then worked for the US Postal Service for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Nora White of Blakely, GA and her beautiful granddaughter, Telana Tumlin.
She is survived by 3 children, Rhonda Youmans (Frank) of FL, Cassie Williams (Randy) of Diamondhead, and Lawrence ""Greg"" Tumlin (Diann) of Biloxi; seven grandchildren, Amanda Youmans of FL, Tammy Smith of AL, Desiree' Boudouin of CO, Julius ""Tristan"" Egloff of TN, Heidi Egloff of DC, Molly Egloff of Hattiesburg, and Greg Tumlin, Jr of PA , and ten great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many close friends.
Christmas was important to her and most of her years she participated in a program that ensured children were visited by Santa Claus. She was a very generous and loving person.
A private graveside service was held on Monday afternoon. She is interred in Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport MS.
