Sandra Wedworth

Sandra Dolores Wedworth, age 81 of Long Beach, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024.

She touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sandra graduated from Long Beach High School.  She was a member of Long Beach Baptist Church. Sandra was coordinator and director of Wedworth Photography and a dedicated employee who retired from Hancock Bank after years of loyal service.

Sandra's passion for life extended beyond her career. She embraced her role as a professional shopper and found joy in the simple pleasures of discovering new treasures.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cereme and Juliette Ellis.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 59 years, James Wedworth; her children, Lisa Kilpatrick (Keith), Gina Marr (Phil), Candi Holloway (Danny), and James Wedworth IV (DeAnna); her siblings, John F. Ellis, Theresa Smith, and Cereme "Sonny" Ellis; her 13 cherished grandchildren, and her 5 great-grandchildren.

In this time of grief, we find solace in celebrating the remarkable life of Sandra Wedworth. Her legacy of love, kindness, and grace will continue to inspire all those who knew her.

The family would like to thank Robin Buch and the compassionate staff at Southern Living Assistance Service for their exceptional care and unwavering support.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Friday, March 1, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at Long Beach City Cemetery.
