Sandra McAdams Roberson, born November 8, 1963, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at her home in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was surrounded by the unwavering love of her devoted husband, Eddie Roberson, and her cherished daughter, Sarah Roberson, as she went to be with the Lord, who she faithfully praised throughout her life.
Sandra lived a life marked by compassion, purpose, and gratitude. She possessed a gift for cooking and found joy in feeding others. Alongside her husband, she spent many years serving the homeless and participating in charity work—always driven by her belief in blessing those less fortunate. Her heart was enormous, and her kindness left a lasting imprint on all who crossed her path.
A woman of determination and perseverance, Sandra worked tirelessly for everything she achieved. She put herself through college, always expressing gratitude for every opportunity and leaning on her unshakeable faith to guide her. Sandra graduated from Nicholls State University, Class of 1984, where she was a proud member of Delta Sigma Pi, earning her bachelor’s degree before pursuing her calling in law. She later attended the University of Mississippi School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor, a milestone she cherished deeply.
Sandra went on to serve her community with honor and integrity as an appointed Deputy District Attorney for the Mississippi 2nd Circuit Court District. She was privileged to work for many years under the late District Attorney Cono Caranna, an experience she valued both professionally and personally. She was instrumental in building support for a computerized system providing better court management and criminal records and establishing the first multi-disciplinary team to improve services to victims of sexual assault and to more effectively prosecute those crimes. Her dedication to justice, fairness, and service embodied the very best of her character. She also served as Co-owner of Roberson Security for 20 years and helped her husband build their family business.
At home, Sandra found peace and joy on her beloved farm. She loved watching her birds, feeding her chickens, spending quiet moments with nature, and appreciating the beauty around her. She treasured traveling and sharing adventures with her husband, always embracing life and its beauty.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Cooper McAdams, Sr., her beloved sister, Sheryl Scott, and her nephew, Jesse W. Dobbins II, whose memories she carried in her heart throughout her life.
