Obituary

Sandra Diane Keegan, age 83 of Gulfport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Leamon Ladner; her sister, Jacque (Rob) Haar; her brothers David and Larry Ladner; her son-in-law, Kendall Cuevas and her in laws, Myrtle and John Keegan.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, John “Joe” Keegan; her son, John (Stacey) Keegan; her daughter, Sandra Cuevas; her grandson, Keegan Cuevas; her sister, Marsha (Richard) Ladner; her sister-in-law; Helen Mason and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in the Riceville Community of Mississippi, she graduated from Harrison Central High School. She later settled in Woolmarket with her beloved husband, Joe, where they raised their family and built a life filled with love, hard work, and cherished memories.

Throughout her life, she wore many hats and worked in a variety of occupations, including hospital clerk, cafeteria cook, school bus driver, farmer, and home builder and developer.

Above all, her greatest priorities were her faith, her church, her family, and her friends. She was a devoted and caring woman whose kindness, strength, and generous spirit touched the lives of many.

She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the care provided by her close friends Cheryl Haynes and Donna Beal and Gloria, Raven and Caitlyn with SAAD Hospice.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Woolmarket Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am. Graveside service will follow at Coalville Cemetery.
