Samuel Curtis ""Sammy"" Turner, 24, went home to be with the lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in Ocean Springs.
God saw you were getting tired, And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered, ""Come to me,"" With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away, Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay, A golden heart stopped beating, Hardworking hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Samuel Herbert Dart Jr. and Edna Mae Dart; paternal grandparents, Robley Turner Sr. and Eva Mae Fields Turner; uncles, Curtis Dennis Holland, Raymond Joseph Turner, Arthur Joseph Turner, Melvin John Turner and Rodney Wayne Turner and an aunt, Betty Jean Babienaux.
He survived in death by his parents, Robley Turner, Jr. and Rita Dart Turner; 1 sister, Anasthasia ""Stacie"" Turner; 3 brothers, Shannon Joseph Connor, Silas Franklin Turner and Sevie Michael Turner; 4 nieces, Alezae', NaDe'ja and Zatavia Turner and Autumn Connor.
Sammy was very sweet, loving and loyal who will be missed by all that knew him. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
