Saipin "Sai" Larimer

  Saipin “Sai” Larimer passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 87 on April 4, 2024. A native of Thailand, she immigrated to the United States in 1962. In the 70’s, she became a cherished long-time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast after being relocated with her family alongside the opening of Stennis Space Center.

  Sai's life was a canvas painted with a palette of passions – sewing, painting, and cooking – and adorned with the beauty of her vegetable and flower gardens.

  Sai was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bill Larimer; daughter, Jeannie Sexton; and great-granddaughter, Violet Batman. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Stewart (Rick) of Cookeville, TN, Jacqueline Seavey (John) of Long Beach, and Samantha Sampson of Galloway, NJ.; and eight grandchildren, Brett Stewart, Wade Stewart (Chantelle), Charles "Chuck" Sexton (Danielle), Sara Pilgreen (Austin), Sydney Pedersen, Erik "Kali" Pedersen, Marisa Sampson, and Garrett Sampson. Her legacy continues to live on through eight great-grandchildren.

  Sai’s life was a warm quilt of love, hard work, and generosity. She will be deeply missed but forever treasured in the hearts of those who were blessed enough to know her. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy will endure through the memories and stories shared by loving family and friends.

  Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
