Ruth Kinsey Varner

Ruth E. Kinsey Varner, age 82, of Long Beach, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Kinsey Varner was born in Gulfport to Ernest and Olivia Allen Anderson. She was a retired auditor for Sears and Roebuck Co. and was a member of First Assembly of God in Gulfport where she played the organ and was song leader for many years. She was attending Faith Assembly of God in Kiln where her son, Ricky, is pastor.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Kinsey; second husband, Bernard Varner; her parents; her daughter, Betty Jo Baker; and her brothers and sister.
She is survived by her children, Rev. Mickey Kinsey of Oklahoma City, OK, Janice Raynaud of Hoover, AL, Rev. Ricky Kinsey of Long Beach, and Robbie Kinsey of Long Beach; and 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15, 2013, in the chapel at 3:00 p.m.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
