Ruth Isabel Smith

Our mother, Ruth Isabel Godley Smith, born May 31, 1926 has left us in body, but not in spirit on August 11, 2014.
She was preceded in death by our father, Paul Smith with whom she was married to for over 50 years.
She leaves her children, Stanley Smith and his wife, Sharon, and Celeste Moor and her husband, Larry. As well as, four grandchildren, Clayton and Jennifer Smith, Justin and his wife, Becky, Gregg Moore and his wife, Abbey and five great grandchildren, Emily and Caden Moore and Justin, Caroline and Mac Duke-Smith.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and most especially, Nancy Solorio, Ruth's nurse for all of their care and support during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Pastor Justin Moore officiating.The visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service in The Chapel. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. under the direction of Riemann Family Funeral Home.
