Ruth Elaine Klockow

Ruth Elaine Coleman Klockow, age 86, of Diamondhead, passed away on December 3, 2023.

She was born in Oakland California and moved to Diamondhead, MS in 1988.

She was survived by her two sons, Mark, and Joel Klockow.

Ruth was married to John D. Klockow LCDR USN (Ret) in 1962. Being a military family Ruth and John raised Mark and Joel in several different states and countries.

After moving to Diamondhead, she designed their very first home on OIO St. The builder was so impressed that he hired Ruth as a design consultant. She went on to designed five more houses in Diamondhead. She helped others with their interior design ideas. After she retired, she concentrated on sewing, crafts and crocheting up until her passing.

Ruth will be dearly missed by her two sons, Mark, and Joel, and all her friends.

Ruth will be laid to rest with her loving husband of 62 years John D. Klockow, at Biloxi National Cemetery.
