Russell Eugene Bailey, Sr., 82, of Gulfport, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Gulfport.
Mr. Bailey was a native of Arkansas and was a long-time resident of Gulfport. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a TSgt. and then later retired as a postal worker and the Supervisor at the Highway 49, Gulfport office at the U.S. Post Office. Mr. Bailey enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Golden Bailey, Sr.; his siblings, Robert Bailey, Jr., Clifford Bailey, Wayne Bailey, Eulene West, Maureen Miller and Nancy Brown; and his brother-in-law, David Pitts.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Joyce Faye Bailey; 5 children, Linda (Scott), Kristal (Ron), Russell (Tammy), Karin (Bryan) and Angie (Jimmy); 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Graveside Service will be held Thursday, February 8th, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
