Ruby Worth

Ruby Virginia "Ginger" Worth of Long Beach, MS entered Heaven's gate on February 5, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 29, 1961 in Hattiesburg, MS.
Ginger worked at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport for 35 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Long Beach. Ginger was very involved in her church and community, serving in several committees and clubs.
Ginger was preceded in death by her father, James Claude Rutledge.
She is survived by her mother, Imogene Breazeale Rutledge; loving husband and best friend of 36 years, Pat Worth; children, Ashleigh (Slade) Jones and Tyler Worth; grandchildren, Tripton, Tayte, and Kennedy Grace Jones; and brother, James Ricky (Deborah) Rutledge.
"I know this is hard, but I (like we all are) was given this life to share and now I must give it back. I am very lucky to have been a part of so many lives. I thank you all for your friendship, love, laughter, and prayers. We will meet again. Be thankful for what you have, say I love you often, laugh hard and long, cherish every day you have. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5-9 PM at First Baptist Church, Long Beach. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 10 AM at the church.
