Ruby Davis Womack, age 96, of Long Beach, passed away on July 26, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Bessie Davis; her husband, William F. Womack; two children, Janice Womack and Albert Womack; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Shoemake.
Ruby is survived by her children, Bill (Evon) Womack, Ruby (Jerry) Blackwell, Patricia Cameron and Mike Womack, all of Long Beach; her sister, Margie Bailey of Olive Branch, MS; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Ruby was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She never met a stranger, enjoyed her many friends, and was very active with her family and friends during her long life. She loved flowers and working in her garden. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11:30 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Courtney Cemetery.
