Ruby Lee Smith

Ruby Lee Seymour Smith, born September 30, 1923, passed away at her life-long home in d'Iberville, MS on October 8, 2014 at the age of 91.
Ruby is survived by her two sons, John 'Rocky' (Renee) Smith, Sr. and James Ray (Sarah) Smith (Meryl Woo Rice by first marriage); four grandchildren: Janice Smith, John 'Rocky' Smith, Jr., Jacqueline ""Lauren"" (Nick) Turner, James ""Byron"" (Melinda) Smith; two step-grandchildren, Laura (Jeffery) Touchstone and David Nicholson; five great grandchildren: John ""Adrien"" Smith, Peyton Turner, Jackson Turner, Kate Smith, and Harper Smith; and two step-great grandchildren, Nate Touchstone and Eliana Touchstone. She is preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Millie A. Seymour; husband, Carroll H. Smith; son, Carroll J. Smith; and three brothers: John Milton Seymour, Edward Joseph Seymour, and James Alva Seymour Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in d'Iberville, MS. Visitation will be held from 10:30 - 11:30 am. Interment will follow in the Moran Cemetery in d'Iberville, MS.
