Ruby Nell Cornelius

Nell Russum Cornelius, age 85 and a resident of Saucier, died on January 4, 2016, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Martin and Molly Myrick Hembree; her spouses, Glen Dale Russum and Paul Cornelius; her son, Lester Carol Russum and a great grandson, Gavin McDaniel.
Nell is survived her children, Brenda Russum (James) Randolph of Diamondhead; Deborah Russum (Jack) Gillis of Woolmarket, Sandra Russum (Jack) Anderson of Long Beach, Rebecca Russum (Terry) Witt of Long Beach, and Barbie Russum (Norman) Trotter of Saucier, her sister, Mary Ruth Presley of Laurel; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was also a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and someone who loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Long Beach.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery.
