Royal G. Burk

Royal G. Burk, MSgt, USAF, Ret, age 79, of Long Beach, passed away on June 25, 2015 in Long Beach.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Burk; a grandson, Luke Burk; and his first wife, Sandra Ann Burk.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Sangwin of Long Beach; his children, Steve Burk and his wife, Sharon, of Pryor, OK, Larry Burk and his wife, Theresa, of D'Iberville, John Burk and his wife, Martha, of Michigan, Roger Burk and his wife, Cindy, of Biloxi, Mike Burk and his wife, Kim, of St. Martin, and his stepdaughter, Julie Burgess of Biloxi; thirteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He served in the United States Air Force as a radio technician and instructor and retired after twenty years of service. He was an avid golfer, sailor, and enjoyed motorcycles. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from 2:30 PM until the service. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Biloxi National Cemetery.
