Roy Allen Wells

Roy Allen Wells passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 71, in Long Beach, MS.   His battle with serious medical issues throughout the years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. 

Roy was born in Greenville, MS to Melton and Marie Wells. 

Roy was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was clever and could be a bit mischievous. 

He had a real love affair with ice cream and diet cokes. His greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones. 

He will be remembered for the full heart he had for his family. 
He loved each of them. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Ruth Fratesi, Virginia Pinnix, and Diane Hinton; his brothers, John Wells, Dean Wells, and Jim Wells. 

Roy is survived by his son, Aaron Wells; his granddaughter, Ashleigh Rapp (Tyler); his great granddaughter, Noelle Rapp;
his sister, Sonya Brewer; a special brother in law, Sammy Hinton; and a host of loving sister in laws, nieces, and nephews. 

A private celebration will be held by the family at a later date.
