Roy Patton

Roy Patton, 77, passed away September 2, 2014 in Gulfport. He worked as a pipe supervisor at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 25 years. He was a faithful member of Campground Baptist Church in Gulfport.
He is preceded in death by parents, Rev. Owen E. Patton, Sr. and Edna Wilson Patton; brother, Owen E. Patton, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Stone Patton of Saucier, sons, Russell Patton (Doris) of Gulfport, Bruce Patton (Jeannine) of Wiggins; daughter, Lisa Mae Patton of Wiggins; step-sons, William M. Stone, Jr. (Margaret) of Gulfport, Jerry Stone (Shirley) of Lakeland, FL; step-daughters, Rita Bentz (Fred) of Pass Christian, Shelia Brewer (Ray) of Gulfport; brothers, Wendall Patton (Jo Ann) of Perkinston, Donald ""Butch"" Patton (Tamera) of Saucier, Ronnie Patton (Natalie) of Saucier; sister, Doye Parker (Joe) of Perkinston, Wanda Cowart (Norman) of Wiggins, Carol Shiyou (Norman) of Kiln; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Abby.
Funeral service will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11:00am at Campground Baptist Church in Gulfport. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30am until service time. Burial will follow the service at Finley Cemetery in Gulfport. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport served the family.
