Rosemary Hector

July 31, 1931 — August 5, 2016

Rosemary Hector was born July 31, 1931 in Toronto, Canada. She was the daughter of Joel Stirling and Peche Clarke Thomas of Miami, Florida.
She attended the University of Miami and was employed as a technical illustrator and tool designer for many major aircraft and aerospace companies in her long working career and was at the forefront of women working in the aerospace industry. She was a lifelong and active member of the Christian Science Church.
Rosemary married Francois Louis Rene Arriens in 1953. In 1979 she married second husband William Brown Hector.
She is predeceased by parents Joel and Peche Thomas, son Rene Francois Arriens, brother Joel Brickenden Thomas, sister Angela Thomas Baker and both husbands.
Rosemary is survived by her sister Sylvia Thomas Shuler, children Brenda Arriens (Jacqui Barrientos), Dominique Arriens Perryman (Joe), Rene Arriens (Sandy), Marc Arriens (Julie), Rebecca Arriens Kocher (Fred), grandchildren Daniel Perryman, Russell Perryman, Ross Arriens and June Arriens, and her many nieces and nephews.
She will be laid to rest alongside her second husband William Hector at the Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Florida.
The family would very much like to thank the staff at Seashore Highland for their wonderful and loving care.
