Obituary

Roscoe Blaney Bryant "RB", age 92 of Biloxi., MS, was called home by his Lord on Friday, June 19, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Athia (Spell) Bryant, Sisters Myrtle Ely, Ethel Sutton, Janie Johnson, and Marie Enriquez, and brothers Walter Bryant, Edmond Bryant, and Clarence Bryant.

Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Janet Bryant, of 72 years; daughters, Susan Patterson (Billy), and Donna Baldus; four grandchildren, Christina Holland (Kelly), Nicholas Patterson, Tanner Baldus, and Chase Baldus, and Great-Grandchildren, Hannah Pahl, Gabriel Holland, Oliver Patterson, Neva Rose Patterson, and August Patterson.

R. B. was a devoted husband, father, and endeared by his family and friends. He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Biloxi for 56 years and later Parkway Baptist Church, Biloxi for 14 years. He had a servant’s heart for his Lord and was a man of the highest integrity. After Hurricane Katrina, he coordinated church housing of numerous disaster relief teams from all over the country as well as their clean-up efforts within the community.

R. B. served his country for 43 years, 20 in the United States Air Force and retired as a MSgt. and 23 years in the Civil Service retiring as a GM-14. He was proud to have served with such highly dedicated USAF and Civil Service men and women.

Well done thy good and faithful servant.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Monday, June 29, 2026. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Parkway Baptist Church, 17284 Highway 67, Biloxi, MS 39532. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m.     The Graveside service will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be given to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer organization.
