Rosalyn Lee Harris

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosalyn Lee (Bell) Harris, 79, on June 16th, 2025, after a lengthy illness. She passed peacefully from this world, surrounded by loved ones.

Rosalyn was born in Birmingham, AL, to William and Elmira Bell. Her family relocated to Gulfport, MS, when she was young, where she met the love of her life, William (Billy) Harris, in 1962. They started a family that would grow to be her greatest joy.

Rosalyn was an avid gardener, expert bargain hunter, and unapologetic chocolate lover. She was a dog lover and had many great furry friends over the years. She loved her family fiercely and would move heaven and earth to make sure her children and grandchildren were happy. She was Roz to her friends, and Nonnie to many: Her grandkids, great-grandkids, and anyone lucky enough to be loved by her.

Roz left this world to join her parents, siblings Jeff and Barbara, and son Mikey. She leaves behind her husband Billy; her children Jan (Johnny) Spain, Babs (Buck) Rogers, and Bubba (Dawn) Harris; her grandchildren Bree, Haley, Holly, Hannah, Sydnie, Gavin, and Jake; and her great-grandchildren Brookelyn, Jackson, Joe, Sawyer, and Roman.

Her memory will be forever cherished in our hearts.
