Rosalind Viola D'Antoni

Mrs. Rosalind Viola D’Antoni, a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Hickory, LA, for the past 50 years, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the age of 84 from complications after a long struggle with renal failure.

She is predeceased by her parents; Amedeo and Anita Carbo Viola, two sisters; Connie Paulina and Jeanette Kenning, and one infant child, Gregory Frank. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Gerald F. D’Antoni, two children, Corri Gulino (Mike) and Salvadore D’Antoni (Shelley), four grandchildren; Sara (Robert), Tony (Tristan), Allison (Branum), and Nicole (Alex); and three great grandchildren; Nathan, Lilly, and Luke.

A lifetime bowler, she participated in several leagues across the Slidell and New Orleans areas, and she was inducted into the Northshore United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame. She retired from the U. S. Department of Commerce after 31 years of federal service. She also worked as a St. Tammany Parish poll commissioner for over 30 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation services on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 66192 Saint Mary Dr., Pearl River, LA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be Monday, July 20, 2026, 11:00 a.m. in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA
