Rosalie Santa Cruz

Rosalie King Santa Cruz, age 84, of Biloxi, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in D’Iberville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Van and Norita King; her brother, Buren King; her husband, Stanley J. Santa Cruz; and her granddaughter, Megan Gresham.

Survivors include her children, Sandy Forchielli (David), Robin Green (David), Diane Blankenship (Patrick) and Helen Gresham (Ronald); her brother, Cecil King (Mary); her eight grandchildren; and her nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Santa Cruz was a native of the St. Martin Community and a long-time resident of D’Iberville. She graduated from St. Martin High School in 1955 and was Salutatorian. She retired from Bell South and from Biloxi Regional Medical Center as the PBX Operator, where she was known as “the Voice of Biloxi Regional.”

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville, and enjoyed bingo, flowers and collecting coins and stamps.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., West Jackson County.  Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 9:30 a.m.  Mrs. Santa Cruz will be laid to rest at Bosarge Cemetery.
