Ronald Dale Wade

Ronald Dale Wade, 77, of Saucier, MS, went to join his family above on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Lynn Wade; parents, Wilburn W. and Elsie Mae Avera Wade; and his sister, Freda Sulene Wade McCutchen.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruthie M. Hardy Wade of Saucier; his children, Bryce Aaron Wade and Jalyn Calderwood Wade of Fredericksburg, VA, Shelley Mae Scott and John Scott of Lexington, TN, Kelsey Aileen Razee and Cyle Razee of Deltona, FL.

He was blessed with 9 grandchildren he loved dearly: Kayla and Karmen Wade, Ron, Elsie, Archie, and Averie Scott, Tayt, Jayce, Rhys Wade.  Mr. Wade is also survived by his In-laws,  Archie J. and Carolyn Hardy.

Ronald was born in Biloxi, Harrison County, MS. Before he was a year old his family moved to Petal, Forrest County, MS, where he grew up. He graduated from Petal High School in 1965, attended Pearl River Junior College. He started LSU, where a football injury ended his football career resulting in being drafted into the US Army for Vietnam in 1970-1971. After his service in the Army ended he joined the US Air Force. He served 24 years and retired in 1992 as a Master Sargeant at Keesler Air Force Base. He was able to use skills he gained during his military service while working for Lowes and Monti Electric.

His main passion was supporting those he loved in whatever they did. He was devoted to coaching, attending, and volunteering his time to the sports his children participated in. He loved to fish and hunt but fishing was his favorite. He enjoyed taking his children as well as other children and friends fishing. He would get as excited about their catch as his own. He put in a large garden every year, even after the children grew up and left home. He enjoyed woodworking and would spend time making different things or repairing broken objects. Those who had the benefit of meeting him have been able to receive the joy that comes from his gregarious nature and desire make others feel accepted and welcome.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2539 Gulfport, MS, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and Highlands and Islands Association of Celtic Gatherings.
