Ronald R. Speck

Ronald R. Speck, age 78, of Diamondhead, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Betty Speck; sister, Ruellen Speck; and his brother, Darryl Hankins.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patsie Speck, and his children, Brian Speck (Joni) and Jeffery Speck.

Mr. Speck was a native of Arkansas, but called Diamondhead his home since 2008. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a band director for 38 years for the Greenville Public School system and a member of the Greenville Symphony.

Ronald touched the lives of and was loved by countless people. He never met a stranger and will be truly missed.
