Ronald """"Mr. Ron"""" C. Lindsey, age 64, of Gulfport passed away on Wednesday, 10/21/2009 in Gulfport.
Mr. Lindsey was a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the past 30 years; he retired from the US Air Force after 23 years of service. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the American Legion and a member of TREA (The Retired Enlisted Association).
Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his parents, Robert T. Lindsey and Reva Schmidt Lindsey; his brother, Richard Lindsey and his father-in-law, Robert Gonder.
Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Ellen Lindsey of Gulfport; his children, Ron (Tiffany) Lindsey of Salina, KS, and Tiffany (Chad) Lindsay of Rockford, IL; his sisters, Kaye (Bill)Turnbough of Steeleville, MO; and Roberta Bevenue of Tulsa OK; granddaughter Alexandra Lindsey and grandson Trey Lindsey both of Salina, KS; his mother-in-law, Gladys Gonder of Gulfport and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 from 11:15am until service at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Gulfport. Funeral service at 12:15pm at the church. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
