Roger Ritch

Mr. Roger F. Ritch “Ritch”, age 76, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on December 12, 2022 in Gulfport, MS.

Ritch was a native of North Carolina.  He was in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years where he was stationed at the following locations, Keesler AFB, Italy, California, Vietnam, Hawaii, Langley AFB, VA, and Turkey.  Ritch worked as a postal carrier, road construction and worked for a drycleaner by delivering items to businesses.

Ritch loved carpentry, repairing cars and lawn mowers.  He was a member of the VFW.

Mr. Ritch was preceded in death by his father, Herman Ritch; his mother, Sarah Nessalee Pratt Ritch Hundley and his sister, Adelaide “Gayle” Ritch Jones. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Geraldine Gould Ritch; his children, Mary Lynn Ritch Alexander (Reginald), Janet Lashley (Ed), and Sarah Ritch Toball; and his grandchildren, Zachary Alexander, Sydney Alexander, Juliet Lashley, and Jillian Lashley, and numerous other family members.
