Rodney Samuel Young, 58, of Gulfport, MS entered eternal life Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
Rodney will be remembered as a hardworking and giving man who loved his family, and enjoyed life. He was employed with City of Gulfport-Utility Partners. Past employments were Future Pipe Industries and Kenny Young's Engine Rebuilding. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing when not helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Samuel and Floy Murphy Young of Vicksburg, MS.
Rodney is survived by his fiancée, Debbie Pique of Gulfport; daughter, LaDonna Gill (Terry) of Eupora, MS; three grandchildren, Nataleigh, Jacob, and Kaleb; brothers, Randy Young of Vicksburg, MS, and Kenny Young (Jerry) of Gulfport, MS. His loving family and friends will miss him dearly.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5th at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Vicksburg City Cemetery, 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 6th in Vicksburg, MS.
