Rodney C. Rednour

Rodney C. Rednour, age 51 passed away at his home in Long Beach, MS, on Wednesday, June 3rd.
Rodney was born in New Orleans, LA and spent his youth in Slidell, Louisiana where he attended Slidell High School and graduated from Slidell Vocational/Technical school.
For many years he was employed as a Certified Automotive Technician at Bill Garrett Nissan and later pursued a career as a truck driver having worked for McElroy Truck Lines, Anderson News and most recently at Gulfstream Express in Gulfport, MS.
Rodney leaves behind, his loving wife of almost 22 years, Denise Davis Rednour whom he married August 8, 1987, his brothers Robert T. Rednour of Slidell, LA and Raymond Rednour and his wife, Paula of River Ridge, LA. and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving Mother and Father, Mr. William Rednour and Elise Egan Rednour as well as his brother William """"Billy"""" Rednour.
Rodney will be very deeply missed by all who knew him. He never knew a stranger and loved everyone. He leaves hundreds of friends and neighbors in addition to his family.
Following cremation, a memorial service is to be held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell, LA between the hours of 6 and 8pm on Friday, June 12th.
His wife asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the American Heart Association or the Humane Society in his memory.
