Robert Sidney Tisdale, age 81 of Long Beach, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Garvis, Sr. and Thelma Tisdale; his wife, Maxine McLain Tisdale; his son, Marvin Rae Tisdale; his brothers, Harold Richard Tisdale, Sr. and Jesse Marvin Tisdale; and his nephew, Harold Richard Tisdale, Jr.
Robert is survived by his sons, Darrin Robert Tisdale (Karen), Mark Sidney Tisdale, and Timothy Bryon Tisdale; his brother, Daniel Garvis Tisdale, Jr. (Mary Ann); 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Army National Guard and was employed as a truck driver.
Robert liked fishing, walking on the beach, and going to car shows. But, most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, Monday, January 2, 2023. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
