Robert Strong

Robert Michael “Mike” Strong, age 72 of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.
Mike was a native of Bay St. Louis and a graduate of Bay High School. He excelled in athletics while at Bay High School and received a football scholarship from Pearl River Junior College in 1966.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Strong; his mother, Anna Mae Perre Strong; his brother, Raymond “Stacky” Strong; and his beloved dog, Max.
Mike is survived by his spouse, Stella Aguipo; his daughter, Michelle Strong Harrison of Long Beach, and his son, James “Jimmy” Michael Strong of Biloxi; his siblings, Donald Strong (Melina), James “Jimmy” Strong (JoEllen), Jack Strong (Kim), and Mary Cowdery (Allen); his grandchildren, Nicole Harrison, Carter Harrison, and Joshua Strong.
He enjoyed watching and playing a wide variety of sports. He was kind and friendly. He would always leave everyone smiling and laughing.
Mike was always smiling and making others laugh. He will be missed by many people whom he met and made feel special. His family will always be grateful for his joyful wit and positive outlook.
